About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Despatch Manager / Senior Despatch Coordinator to support and lead daily despatch, logistics, and operations coordination across the business.
This role is suited to candidates ranging from strong mid‑level operations coordinators through to experienced senior operators. The scope, autonomy, and leadership responsibility will scale based on experience.
You’ll work closely with Operations, Sales, Warehouse, Project Managers, Transport, providers, and Operations leadership - playing a key role in keeping projects, events, and logistics moving in a fast‑paced, time‑critical environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Despatch & Logistics CoordinationCoordinating daily express orders and urgent despatch requestsSupporting freight and logistics coordination for Brisbane and interstate projectsLiaising with freight providers across road freight, express transport, and national jobs
People, Fleet & Operations SupportSupporting fleet and vehicle coordination, including trucks and operational equipmentAssisting with rosters, shift allocations, and labour coordinationProviding despatch and operations administration support to the Operations Office
Project & Stakeholder CoordinationWorking closely with Sales and Project Managers to support event and project deliveryRaising and managing purchase orders and dealing with suppliersHelping resolve time‑critical issues in a high‑pressure, fast‑moving environment
Safety, Compliance & SystemsSupporting safe work practices across despatch, warehouse, fleet, and transport operationsWorking within Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations relating to freight, scheduling, vehicle movements, and load managementAssisting with compliance around vehicle use, fatigue management, and safe loading practicesLearning and using internal safety and compliance systems (training provided)Supporting accurate record‑keeping, reporting, and escalation of risks or incidents as required
You don’t need to be a safety specialist - but you must be willing to engage with safety systems and take responsibility for doing things the right way, even under pressure.

Highly RegardedForklift licenceTruck licenceExperience coordinating freight or national logisticsExposure to events, exhibitions, construction, or project‑based operations
