As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Insurance Broker to join our team.

About the Role

As an Insurance Broker at ODIN Insurance, you'll play a key role in delivering tailored general insurance solutions across a broad range of industries and occupations. The role offers an excellent mix of new business opportunities while also assisting with renewals as part of our collaborative broking team.

Rather than managing an individual portfolio, you'll work alongside your colleagues to prepare, negotiate and place insurance solutions, helping clients secure the right cover while delivering a consistently high standard of service.

You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of risks, industries and insurance products, making this an ideal opportunity for a broker who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new business enquiries from initial contact through to policy placement.

• Prepare, market and negotiate insurance quotations across a broad range of general insurance products.

• Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and secure the best outcomes for clients.

• Prepare new business, renewals, endorsements and policy amendments.

• Identify opportunities to provide additional value through appropriate cross-selling and coverage reviews.

• Support clients throughout the claims process by providing guidance and assistance.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation within the brokerage management system.

• Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.

• Contribute positively to the ongoing success and growth of the broking team.

About You

We're looking for someone who is professional, motivated and passionate about delivering outstanding client outcomes.

You will ideally have:

• Tier 1 General Insurance Broking qualification (RG146).

• Previous experience as an Insurance Broker or Account Executive.

• Strong knowledge of commercial and/or domestic general insurance products.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

• Experience using brokerage management systems such as WinBEAT or Sunrise.

• Established insurer relationships.

• Business development experience.
