Disability Support Worker

YouCare Disability Services is an NDIS Provider with a team that are committed to delivering quality support for our participants in the community. We are primarily located in Sydney, with participants across NSW and are looking for energetic, compassionate, and qualified people to join our team and make a difference. We provide full training for you to be able to deliver services to our participants, all you need is a willingness to learn and a passion for supporting communities.

We are looking for someone located in or around Ryde. We welcome Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply. We value diversity and welcome applicants who can bring cultural understanding, connection and respect to their work.

The key responsibilities for this role include: 

• Personal Care (eg. bowel care, showering, dressing, grooming)
• Bowel Care (or willingness to learn)
• Domestic Duties (eg.light household chores, washing, meal preparation)
• Community Access (taking to appointments, accompanying her on outings, assisting them in community participation and driving)
• Rehabilitation
• Respite Support
• Overnight Care
• Shopping Duties 
• Transportation to appointments in own vehicle 

Essential Requirements for this role:

• First Aid Certificate
• NDIS Worker clearance check 
• Working with Children Check
• Drivers licence & access to a reliable vehicle
