This position is based in our Head Office in Lane Cove

The Position/Role:

We would like to build a long-term relationship with a professional bookkeeper to work with our team. The candidate should have excellent communication skills with a warm and friendly personality and be able to work independently. This position requires a skilled multi-tasker, who is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. Reporting directly to the Finance and Administration Manager the successful candidate will be fully responsible for the following tasks:

• Recording of all financial transactions of the business in MYOB and Excel.

• Accounts Receivable;

• Accounts Payable;

• Maintaining Debtor Control.

• Processing bank/credit card reconciliations.

• Checking figures and reporting for accuracy.

• Reporting any irregularities in data to management.

• Producing balance sheets, income statements and other financial documents.

• Maintaining accurate files

The Criteria:

The candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Bookkeeping using MYOB.

• knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

Your Profile:

To be successful in this role, you will have minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Bookkeeping role using MYOB

You:

• will be able to handle multiple responsibilities and complete all tasks with accuracy;

• will be expected to interact with both management and external customers, hence effective communication and rapport building skills are essential as well as excellent spoken and written English;

• will have strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task;

• must be motivated, able to manage own workload and work unsupervised.
