Urgent Care Registered Nurse

We are a busy, privately owned and well-established general practice with a co-located Urgent Care Clinic, providing high quality, patient centered care to our local community. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, friendly and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working at the top of their scope of practice, values teamwork and is looking to further develop their skills across both urgent care and general practice.

About the Role

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting to the Urgent Care Clinic

• Assess patients on presentation, ensuring they are appropriate for the service and triaged promptly

• Deliver frontline nursing care in collaboration with our Urgent Care GPs

• Support patient care within the GP Clinic, including chronic disease management, health assessments, immunisations, wound care and other general practice nursing responsibilities

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration

• Previous experience in general practice, urgent care, emergency or acute care nursing

• Excellent clinical assessment and triage skills

• A calm, organised and adaptable approach in a busy clinical environment

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
