THE VOLT CAFE WONTHAGGI is looking for an experienced and passionate Full-Time Cook to join our growing

cafe team. We are seeking someone who is reliable, organised, and passionate about delivering high-quality food

and excellent kitchen service in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Position Details

• Position: Full-Time Cook

• Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per year

• Location: Wonthaggi, Victoria

• Work Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, and cafe-style meals to a high standard

• Assist in menu preparation and weekly specials

• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and workstations

• Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards

• Work efficiently during busy service periods

• Assist in reducing food wastage and maintaining kitchen efficiency

• Support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working as a cook in a cafe or hospitality environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen

• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations

• Good time management and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexible availability including weekends
