Quality Technician – 4x4 Bullbar Manufacturing

The Company

Abcor Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated manufacturing company located in Campbellfield Victoria. Abcor Pty Ltd is the industry leader in the fabrication and assembly of metal, aluminium and stainless steel parts.

The Role

The role will involve being hands on, on the shop floor, driving all aspects of quality. You will report to the Quality Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring strict quality system conformance in the production areas.

• Conducting daily quality audit of production parts and processes.

• Visual inspection of coated production parts.

• Highlighting and escalating quality issues to management.

• Working with and mentoring company staff on all aspects of quality.

• Raising and managing corrective action reports.

• Modifying and/or creating process documentation.

Essential Criteria

• Must live within 40 minutes driving distance to Campbellfield Victoria.

• Minimum 5 years of previous quality control experience within the automotive industry, preferably welding, fabrication, measurement and part assembly.

• Industry trade background or qualification preferable.

• Good understanding of part measurement and reporting methodology and principles.

• High attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy required.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Positive attitude required and willingness to learn new skills.

• Experience writing reports and reporting to a manager.

• Available to start immediately.
