Ceramics Coach

About the Role
Join the team at Monte Lupo Studio, where creativity and meaningful employment come together. As a Ceramics Coach, you'll support employees with disability to develop workplace skills while contributing to the production of high-quality ceramic products. This hands-on role combines pottery production, coaching and mentoring within a supportive studio environment. You'll work across a range of ceramic processes, including hand building, slip casting and wheel work, while promoting quality, safety and skill development. This is a Permanent Part-Time opportunity based within our Creative Arts team

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting and training employees with disability in pottery production and workplace tasks
• Producing ceramic products using hand building, slip casting and pottery wheel techniques
• Maintaining product quality standards throughout the production process
• Operating and maintaining pottery studio equipment, including kilns, slab rollers and slip mixers
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised studio environment in line with workplace procedures

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience working with clay and pottery production techniques (Required)
• Experience using pottery studio equipment, including kilns, glazing processes and related machinery (Required)
• Experience in hand building, slip casting and/or wheel throwing (Required)
• Experience supporting people with disability in employment, training or support settings desirable.
• Computer skills and experience maintaining records and workplace documentation.

Requirements

• Current Driver Licence (P2 minimum)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Valid Australian working rights
