The Role

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Mechanical hydraulics technician to join our team, operating permanently on a static site within the Caloundra region.

Duties will involve the service and maintenance of pool plant equipment on a local long term government contract. Essential to this role is a good understanding of a commercial pool or hydraulic plant.

Key Competencies

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Full valid drivers’ licence.

• White card in construction

• A trade background and licence in electrical or plumbing preferred but not essential.

• An understanding in a commercial pool plant operation.

• Flexible in working hours between 6am and 9pm Monday to Friday.

• Have a strong understanding of HSE practices and continual improvement processes.

• Strong professionalism and presentable appearance.

• Excellent client relation skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Willing to undergo national police background check.

• Hold or willing to gain – Confined space ticket
