Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

If suitable for this position, your responsibilities will include:

Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies, primarily in the construction and development spaceTax Planning & dealing with key tax issuesExposure to interesting advisory work if you're at the right levelOpportunity to upskill in new accounting technologies and software

You'll be working with Xero Tax and some MYOB, with the opportunity to continuously learn through monthly and fortnightly in-house training.

What are we looking for?

Have at least 4 years' experience in business services & tax in an Australian Public Practice Accounting FirmExcellent communication skills and confidence to speak to clientsKnowledge of Xero & MYOBCA/CPA qualified or working towardsInitiative and ability to work independently
