Registered Nurse Cosmetic Injector

About the role

As a Registered Nurse Cosmetic Injector, you will provide consultations and cosmetic treatments within your professional scope of practice and in accordance with current Australian regulatory requirements, clinical protocols and Peninsula Aesthetics' policies and procedures. The successful applicant will be confident working independently while also enjoying being part of a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cosmetic consultations and patient assessments.
• Develop appropriate and individualised treatment plans.
• Administer cosmetic injectable treatments within your scope of practice and applicable prescribing arrangements.
• Maintain an exceptional standard of patient safety and clinical care.
• Identify contraindications, patient suitability and situations where treatment should be declined or deferred.
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-treatment education and follow-up.
• Recognise, manage and appropriately escalate potential complications.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive and contemporaneous clinical records.
• Follow infection prevention, medication management and clinical governance requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.

About you

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with AHPRA.
• Previous experience working as a Cosmetic Nurse Injector.
• Current National Police Certificate for employment.
• Demonstrated experience in cosmetic injectable treatments.
• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
• Current CPR certification and relevant emergency training.
• Strong understanding of facial anatomy and cosmetic treatment principles.
• Excellent clinical judgement with a strong focus on patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with AHPRA, TGA and clinic policies.
