NEXGEN Crushing & Screening is growing, and we’re looking for experienced, all-round Mobile Crushing & Screening Operators to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for operators who know their way around a crushing circuit, can confidently operate loaders and excavators, take pride in their equipment and want to work for a company where good operators are valued.

You’ll be working across a range of mine and quarry sites throughout Western Australia, operating mobile crushing and screening equipment as well as supporting the wider operation with mobile plant.

We’re not looking for someone who simply turns up and runs a machine. We want hands-on, versatile operators who understand the whole operation, can move between different types of plant, recognise when something isn’t running right, take ownership of their equipment and get the job done safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating mobile crushing and screening equipment including jaw, cone and impact crushers, screens and associated plant

• Operating wheel loaders and excavators to feed crushers, manage stockpiles and move material around site

• Running and monitoring crushing circuits to achieve production and quality targets

• Completing daily pre-starts and equipment inspections across mobile plant

• Carrying out routine servicing, greasing, maintenance and repairs as needed

• Identifying faults early and working with the team to minimise downtime

• Managing material flow, stockpiles and crusher feed as required

• Completing production records, maintenance paperwork and fault reports

• Keeping machines, cabs and work areas clean and well maintained

• Assisting with general site duties and labouring when required

What We're Looking For

We're after experienced, all-round operators, not just someone with a ticket.

You will ideally have:

• 2+ years' experience operating mobile crushing and screening equipment and heavy machinery

• Proven experience operating wheel loaders and excavators/diggers (dozer also advantageous)

• Hands-on experience with jaw, cone and/or impact crushers and screens

• Experience working in mining, quarrying or civil operations

• A good understanding of crushing circuits, material flow and production

• The ability to confidently move between crushing/screening plant and mobile equipment as required

• The ability to carry out basic fault finding and maintenance

• A strong focus on safety without compromising production

• A good work ethic and genuine pride in your work

• The ability to work independently while being part of a team

• A reliable attitude and willingness to get stuck in when required

Tickets & Requirements

• Current Driver's Licence – minimum HR

• White Card

• National Police Clearance (within 3 months)

• Pre-Employment Medical (within 6 months)

• Lab Drug & Alcohol Screening (within 30 days)

• First Aid Certificate, Working at Heights & Confined Spaces (Already hold, or able to obtain within 3 months)
