We're expanding our AI & Tech team, and we're looking for data consultants across Senior Consultant, Manager and Senior Manager levels to help shape it from the ground up.Why this role is differentIt's a chance to get in early on a new capability inside a firm with real strategy pedigree — combining CVA's boardroom relationships and commercial rigour with hands-on data and AI expertise. You'll help define how we bring data-driven insight and applied AI to strategy engagements, and your fingerprints will be on the way this practice works for years to come.What you'll doPartner with CVA strategy teams and clients to translate messy, ambiguous business questions into data-driven answersDesign and deliver analytics, AI/ML and GenAI solutions that sit inside broader strategy and transformation engagementsWork directly with senior client stakeholders — CEOs, CFOs, and functional leaders — to shape recommendations and drive decisionsHelp build CVA's AI & Tech methodology, tools and ways of working, and mentor junior team members as the practice growsManage or contribute to workstreams across sectors including consumer, industrials, financial services, and moreWhat we're looking forExperience in data/analytics consulting, data science, or an internal data/AI team, ideally with exposure to strategy or management consulting (minimum 3 years experience)Strong technical grounding — comfortable with things like SQL, Python, cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), BI tools, and increasingly AI/ML and GenAI applicationsThe ability to translate technical work into clear, commercially relevant insight for non-technical stakeholdersAn entrepreneurial mindset — genuine excitement about building a new practice, not just joining oneBachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.For Manager and Senior Manager candidates: a track record of leading workstreams or teams and managing senior client relationshipsWhereRoles are open across our Australia and New Zealand offices.
