Fleet Controller - Shipping Containers

We are a  well-established WA transport company specialising in container logistics throughout Fremantle Port and the Perth metropolitan area.

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller with a strong background in container transport and wharf operations to join our Operations team in Welshpool.

This is a fast-paced operational role where you'll coordinate daily container movements to and from Fremantle Port, ensuring efficient fleet utilisation and outstanding customer service.

• Coordinate daily container deliveries and collections.

• Allocate and manage driver schedules for maximum fleet efficiency.

• Plan around vessel arrivals, wharf operations and container availability.

• Liaise with drivers, customers, wharf operators and shipping lines.

• Monitor fleet movements and resolve operational issues quickly.

• Ensure service deadlines are met while maintaining safety and compliance.

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven Fleet Controller experience within container transport.

• Strong knowledge of Fremantle Port, wharf operations and container logistics.

• Excellent planning, communication and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to remain calm and make decisions in a busy, time-critical environment.

• Strong computer skills and experience with transport management systems.
