About the role

Kwik Kopy Martin Place is seeking a detail-oriented Print Production Operator to join our production team. The primary focus of this role is imposition and preparing customer artwork for production. You will provide vital support across digital printing, finishing, large format work, and general production.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and impose artwork for digital print production

• Check customer-supplied artwork, resolve production issues, and verify bleed, sizing, resolution, and colour profiles

• Prepare proofs and ensure all job specifications are confirmed and accurate prior to production

• Assist with the operation of digital printing

• Perform high-quality print finishing, including trimming, laminating, binding, mounting, and packing

• Assist with large format and signage production

• Read and interpret job tickets accurately, following established production processes to maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle

About you

• Previous experience in a print shop, signage business, copy centre, or production environment is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, or InDesign is beneficial.

• A commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work with a keen eye for detail.

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn.

• You are punctual, committed to being a strong team player, and take full ownership of your tasks from start to finish.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive approach to asking questions and raising issues early.

• Experience with Konica digital equipment will be very advantageous
