Legal Receptionist (Part Time)

About the role

Based in the heart of Blackwood, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to legal professionals. This role is 3 days per week. Ideally, you will be available Thursdays and Fridays, but we can be flexible for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors to the office in a friendly and professional manner

• Answering incoming calls

• Scheduling and coordinating client appointments and meetings

• Providing general administrative support, such as photocopying, filing, and data entry

• Preparing correspondence

• Maintaining a neat and organised reception area

• Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks as required

About you

• Law students in their second to penultimate year of study are encouraged to apply

• Previous experience as a receptionist, or in a similar customer service role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of clients

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• A friendly, professional and courteous demeanour

• Knowledge of the legal industry or a willingness to learn is highly desirable
