About the role
The Hills Club is entering an exciting new chapter.
We're investing in our facilities, expanding our gaming floor, strengthening our leadership team and continuing to build a workplace where our people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
We're looking for an experienced Duty Manager who enjoys leading from the front, supporting their team and creating an outstanding experience for our members.
This isn't a role where you'll simply supervise a shift and lock the doors at the end of the night.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in leading people, solving problems, maintaining high standards and helping create a welcoming club that members love to visit.
About the roleThis is a permanent full-time management position working a roster of afternoon and evening shifts, generally between 4:00pm and 2:00am, including weekends. To support work-life balance, you'll enjoy one rostered weekend off every month.
You'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the venue while leading our team across gaming, bar, food service and member experience.
No two shifts are ever the same.
One minute you might be coaching a team member, the next assisting a member, resolving an issue or helping drive the smooth operation of a busy Friday night.
What we're looking forYou'll be someone who:
Enjoys leading people and bringing out the best in a team.
Remains calm and organised under pressure.
Leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves.
Has previous Duty Manager or hospitality leadership experience.
Holds current RSA, aRCG and First Aid qualifications
Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
We believe great workplaces are built by great people.
When you join our team, you'll enjoy:
A supportive and approachable leadership team.
The opportunity to contribute ideas and make a genuine impact.
A friendly club with loyal members and a welcoming culture.
Ongoing training and professional development.
Free onsite parking.
Staff meals while on duty.
Uniform provided.
Job security within an established and respected community club.
If you're looking for more than "just another Duty Manager job" and want to join a club that's continuing to grow and improve, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply now with your resume and a brief cover letter telling us why you'd be a great fit for The Hills Club.
