Finance Administratr (Entry-Level / Junior)

Role Description The Finance Administrator (Entry-Level / Junior) will support day-to-day financial and administrative activities for The AI Business Club. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with a combination of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. Typical responsibilities include assisting with basic accounting tasks, processing invoices and expenses, preparing and updating financial records, and helping with monthly reporting. The role also involves reconciling transactions, organizing financial documents, and communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to learn AI-related business operations while building foundational finance experience.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail for reviewing financial data and identifying variances.Candidates should possess foundational finance knowledge and an interest in budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations.Candidates should possess familiarity with financial statements and the ability to interpret basic profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow information.Candidates should possess essential accounting skills, including data entry, reconciliation, and understanding of debits and credits.Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and share financial information effectively.Comfort with spreadsheets and basic financial software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets); experience with accounting tools is an advantage.Relevant education in finance, accounting, business, or a related field (completed or in progress) is preferred.Interest in AI and technology-driven business models, with a willingness to learn how AI impacts financial and operational decisions.Ability to work reliably in a hybrid setting, manage time well, and handle confidential financial information responsibly.
