About the Role

This role will be responsible for the provision of robust and effective on-site leadership and execution of the Builds and Projects department, that enables the team to deliver; safe, efficient and compliant field services support to the Mining Division and its Customers.

The Build Supervisor role is required to lead and direct outcomes set out by the Project Manager/Build Manager, ensuring compliance and conformance to operational goals and company needs. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and direction to allocated team members

• Drive a project’s completion through accuracy and compliance to process and deliverables

• Provide reports and liaise with customers regarding operations

• Lead and coordinate a team of Build Technicians, driving safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes across field service operations.

• Build strong customer relationships and be the key point of contact for delivering exceptional service and support.

• Take ownership of workforce planning, scheduling and operational performance to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.

• Champion continuous improvement, safety leadership and team development while helping shape the future success of the Build team.

About You

• Trade qualified in a mechanical or related heavy equipment discipline, with proven experience leading frontline teams.

• Strong customer focus with the ability to build trusted relationships, manage stakeholder expectations and deliver outstanding service outcomes.

• Demonstrated capability in planning resources, coordinating workloads and driving operational performance across multiple priorities.

• Well-developed commercial, reporting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, manage risk and lead change effectively.
