Trade Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a long term motivated Trade Assistant to join our team at Macweld Industries Pty Ltd in Largs Bay, SA. We cross a broad range of metal fabrication works, including structural, mining, metalwork, recycling, stainless steel, site work and shut downs. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and growth within our organisation.

Requirements:

1. Forklift Licence

2. Construction Card

3. Drivers Licence

4. EWP/Rigging (Desirable)

Role:

1. Deliveries

2. Load/Unload Trucks

3. Workshop/Site equipment maintenance

4. Maintenance

5. Practice safe lifting with overhead crane

6. Able to work within a team environment or independently

7. Experience with tools and equipment, mechanical saws, grinding and drilling.

8. Understanding Australian Standards with fabrication and welding

9. Site work including structural steel erection

All successful applicants will be required to complete a Pre-employment Medical with Drug & Alcohol screen prior to commencing employment.
