About the Role
We are currently seeking a Principal Quality professional supporting our WAIO Asset Western Australia Asset Projects (WAAP), providing specialist quality expertise, assurance and leadership across the WAAP project portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring quality requirements are embedded throughout the project phases, supporting safe and reliable assets that meet BHP's long term performance objectives.
This position is based in Perth with occasional site travel as required during project execution.
You will play a pivotal role in leading the development, implementation and continual improvement of quality management strategies, standards, governance frameworks, processes, systems and plans across the WAAP portfolio. The role provides specialist quality leadership, assurance and technical expertise to support safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose project outcomes while maximising value and long term asset performance.
Committed to developing a culture driven by safety, quality and continuous improvement, your highly developed teamwork and, interpersonal skills and attention to detail will be central to success in the role.
