Accounts Payable Officer (Fixed-Term Contract - 1 Year)

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team and support the efficient delivery of our Accounts Payable function.

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our high-performing Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment, must have extensive SAP S/4HANA experience and enjoys working in a high-volume Accounts Payable function.

About the Role

Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, reconciliations, payment runs and supplier enquiries while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process 200+ supplier invoices per day accurately and within agreed service levels
• Complete supplier statement reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies
• Process invoices using SAP S/4HANA, VIM and workflow systems
• Support weekly and monthly payment runs
• Investigate and resolve supplier invoice and payment queries
• Manage enquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Assist with month-end activities and ledger clearing
• Maintain accurate financial records and strong financial controls
• Identify opportunities to improve Accounts Payable processes and efficiencies

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Minimum 3 years' recent Accounts Payable experience
• Experience working in a high-volume corporate Accounts Payable environment
• Demonstrated ability to process 200+ invoices per day
• Proven experience completing supplier statement reconciliations
• Hands-on experience using SAP S/4HANA (experience with SAP Concur alone is not sufficient)
• Experience supporting payment runs and resolving supplier account queries
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
