Information Technology Operations Manager

The Role:We're recruiting on behalf of a well established Sydney law firm who need a hands-on IT Operations specialist to come in on contract and hit the ground running.
Over the next month or two you'll be the person making sure a big stretch of change lands smoothly: an office move, a phone system changeover, AV setup in the new space, and working alongside the firm's MSP to get networking stood up. There's also a CRM project likely to kick off in the same window.
This is a genuinely hands-on role. You'll need to be technically strong enough to actually do the work and to sanity check what the MSP delivers, not just coordinate from a distance.
For the right person, this isn't just a month's contract. The firm is planning to bring on a permanent IT Operations Manager later this year to manage their in-house IT team and own the relationship with their MSP going forward, and the contract is a genuine pathway into that role if it's a fit on both sides.
What we're looking for:Strong hands-on infrastructure, networking and systems experienceComfortable managing vendors/MSPs and holding them to account on deliveryExperience with office moves, telephony systems and AV setup is a bonus
