About Us
The Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania (RAST) was established in 1822 and coordinates events including the Royal Hobart Show, Royal Tasmanian Fine Food Awards, Royal Hobart Wine Show and the Royal Tasmanian Whisky & Spirits Awards as well as operating the Hobart Showground Motorhome Park. The Hobart Showground is currently being redeveloped to ensure the RAST is sustainable for the next 200 years and allow for our major events to be reimagined and developed to engage people and organisations from across Greater Hobart. We offer the opportunity to attend other Royal Shows across the country and engage with our national and state bodies including Agricultural Shows Australia (ASA) and Tasmanian Agricultural Shows (TAgS).
