About the RoleWe're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help manage website content and presence, produce marketing materials, adviser and client communications, and content across the Lifespan group. You'll work closely with the marketing team on everything from social media and client articles to press releases and campaign assets. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build broad marketing skills in a supportive, close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities• Produce and coordinate marketing content across digital and print channels, including social media, EDMs, and website updates• Draft client-facing articles and communications that translate financial concepts into clear, accessible language• Write media releases and support PR activity• Work one-on-one with practices to support how they communicate and engage with their clients• Design assets in Canva for campaigns, events, and adviser resources• Communicate with the advice community, and manage EDM campaigns through Mailchimp, from build through to send and reporting• Edit video content for social, adviser and client-facing purposes• Use AI tools to speed up research, drafting, and content production• Support the wider team with day-to-day marketing, operational and practice development tasks
Selection CriteriaEssential• A degree in Marketing (or closely related field)• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly for different audiences• Confidence using core technology tools, including Microsoft Office, Canva, Mailchimp, and video editing software• Comfortable using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow• Initiative and the ability to think outside the box• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a small, tight-knit teamDesirable• Experience in financial services or a related professional services industry
What Makes Someone Successful in This RoleYou don't need to have all the answers on day one, but you do need to ask good questions and seek support where needed. You'll be trusted to run with tasks independently, so we're looking for someone who takes ownership and accountability of their work. Because the team is small, how you communicate matters just as much as what you produce.
