What your day could look like

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant – Operating Theatre, you'll help deliver outstanding surgical care across the region. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you'll coordinate services, strengthen clinical practice and support safe, efficient patient outcomes.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

• Leading perioperative services to support safe, timely and effective surgical care.
• Partnering with clinicians and stakeholders to optimise theatre resources and service outcomes.
• Driving quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives across the service.
• Mentoring and developing nursing staff to build capability and future leadership.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Strong perioperative nursing experience and advanced clinical knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage change and foster collaboration.
• Experience applying quality, safety and risk management principles.

You'll stand out if you have postgraduate qualifications, or are working towards further study, and experience supporting education, workforce development or service improvement.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone passionate about perioperative care and committed to improving outcomes for patients, colleagues and community.
