Trainee Business Digital Information and Technology (Administration Support) - Certificate IV in Business

Under close supervision, this role offers an exciting, competency‑based traineeship designed to launch your career in Digital Information and Technology. Through a combination of formal study and hands‑on, on‑the‑job learning, you will develop practical, future‑focused digital skills in a real‑world environment.
This role supports the administration function of the Digital Information and Technology section by assisting with the delivery of consistent and professional administrative services. Under guidance and supervision, the trainee will provide timely administrative support to the section stakeholders, helping ensure processes align with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements. The role is designed to build understanding of the section’s functions and the broader business environment, including gaining introductory knowledge of the legislative and regulatory context in which the section operates.
What truly sets this role apart is the opportunity to gain exposure across Council’s vast and diverse Digital Information and Technology streams. From Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security to Digital Architecture and transformation projects, you will be immersed in a dynamic digital environment and gain insight into innovative technologies shaping Council’s digital future and effecting the community.
