How You'll Shape What's Possible:

The Principal Consultant - Advisory is a strategic leader within Altis, specialising in delivering high-impact advisory services that drive business transformation through data science and AI solutions. You use your unique blend of technical expertise in data science, consulting acumen, and emotional intelligence, enabling you to guide clients in navigating complex challenges and achieving their business objectives.  

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Advise clients on aligning business goals with data and AI solutions, fostering long-term relationships.  

• Use data science and AI to create tailored data & AI solutions.  

• Lead the creation of impactful business solutions that address client needs and enhance performance.  

• Work independently and advise the client, ensuring alignment with their objectives.  

• Build and maintain data solutions that drive business insights.  

• Present complex technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.  

• Lead medium to large projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives.  

• Stay informed on industry trends and technologies to enhance advisory & AI practices.  

• Conduct quality reviews to ensure high standards in project deliverables.  

• Participate in developing proposals that align with client needs and drive organisational growth.  

• Help enhance advisory & AI frameworks and service offerings.  

• Engage in initiatives that promote thought leadership and continuous learning.  

• Build client relationships and support business development efforts.  

• Oversee project delivery, ensuring effective control and risk management.  

• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth.  

The Knowledge You Bring: 

• Extensive experience in consulting, specifically focusing on data and AI applications.   

• Experience delivering data & AI solutions for the Customer/Marketing/Digital and Finance functions 

• Proven ability to solve complex problems with innovative, practical solutions.   

• High emotional intelligence, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.   

• Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.   

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in public speaking  

• Tertiary qualification in an IT-related field or relevant work experience.   

• 10+ years of broad IT experience, particularly in Data & Analytics.  

• 10+ years of experience delivering data and analytics projects.   

• 10+ years of consulting experience in a client-facing environment.
