Operations Support - Inventory

Our SASH Gold Coast team is seeking a part time Inventory and Operations Support person who will be primarily responsible for the effective management, control, and optimization of inventory across our busy hospital. This role ensures the timely procurement, accurate tracking, auditing, and replenishment of stock to support uninterrupted patient care and hospital operations. Working closely with the Procurement Team, department leaders, and key stakeholders, the position drives inventory best practice, stock accuracy, cost control, and process improvement initiatives.

In addition to inventory management responsibilities, you will provide operational support across the hospital, facilities coordination, accreditation activities, and general operational initiatives to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hospital.

A few Key Responsibilities include:-

• Lead and coordinate inventory management activities across all hospital departments to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained at all times.
• Partner with the Procurement Team to monitor, replenish, and optimize stock holdings across the hospital.
• Manage and oversee ordering processes, stock control procedures, and inventory auditing activities.
• Monitor inventory performance, investigate stock discrepancies, and support corrective actions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the Operations Team with day-to-day operational troubleshooting to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
• Work collaboratively with Facilities and Finance Managers to support operational requirements.
• Support the management of hospital facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional workplace.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar, fast paced administration role.
• Strong time management and personal organisational skills
• Experience with the suite of Microsoft Office applications with a particular interest in Excel and document presentation.
