About the Opportunity
Edward Jacobs is currently working with two established engineering consultancies that are looking to hire experienced Senior Structural Engineers across Sydney and Newcastle.Both opportunities are suited to experienced Structural Engineers who are ready to take on greater technical responsibility, lead projects and continue progressing their careers.
Depending on the opportunity, you may work across residential, multi-residential, commercial and broader structural engineering projects, taking projects from concept and design through to documentation, construction support and site inspections.

About You
We are looking for Senior Structural Engineers with:5+ years of hands-on structural engineering experienceStrong experience in structural design and documentationExperience across residential and/or multi-residential projectsAbility to lead structural projects from concept through to detailed design and constructionStrong design capability across concrete, steel and timber structuresSound knowledge of relevant Australian StandardsExperience with structural documentation and project deliveryStrong technical problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to conduct or support site inspections and construction-stage activitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsConfidence working directly with clients, architects, builders and other project stakeholdersA collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projectsA genuine interest in mentoring and developing less experienced engineers
NSW Design Practitioner registration or eligibility under the DBPA legislation will be highly regarded.
