Swim Teacher

About the role

We have an opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Experienced Swim Instructor to join our team weekends with shifts during the week available too. At Pacific Swim School we provide swimming lessons to babies, toddlers and children in a modern and private indoor facility where we give every child a high level of care and attention, optimising their progression through their learn-to-swim journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide swimming lessons to babies, toddlers and children

• Optimise children's progression through their learn-to-swim journey

• Work with children and parents in a welcoming environment

• Help kids to stay on task

• Establish good rapport with parents and children

About you

• Minimum 6 months of experience in swim teaching or childcare/teaching industry

• Hold current qualifications recognised in NSW as a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (Austswim / Royal Life Saving / Swim Australia)

• Hold a WWC clearance and current CPR, or willing to obtain these

• Ability to work with children

• Skills in helping kids to stay on task

• Great communicator - you enjoy talking to people and are able to establish a good rapport with parents and children

• Availability to work weekends

• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

• Ideally experience with baby lessons, however, we can offer training if not.
