About Our Role

Due to sustained growth in the region, a strategic role has been established for a consultancy experienced Electrical Engineer (Mid to Senior Level) to be based in our Perth office and our Industrial and Resources team. With a focus on delivering high engineering design standards this role will directly report to and support the Regional Electrical Engineering Manager and assist in further growth of the team.

Role Accountabilities

LV and HV power systems analysis (loadflow, fault levels, protection) LV and HV power systems design (SLDs, schematics, cable schedules, layouts)Protection systems design Earthing and lightning protection system designPreparation and presentation of reports

About You

Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical EngineeringMultiple years of post-graduate HV or LV, experience within the Power / Resources / Industrial sectorDetailed understanding of Electrical Infrastructure for Industrial Sites and Generation facilitiesExperience with specifying and selecting switchgear, power system components and substation plantProven experience modelling HV projects in ETAP. Additional exposure to DigSilent would be highly regardedDemonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skillsExcellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externallyStrong client focus and the ability to work within or lead a project teamControls experience preferred but not essential
