Pathways Sailors Bay is seeking a creative, compassionate and enthusiastic Lifestyle Coordinator to join our dedicated team. Working within our premium boutique aged care residence, you will build genuine relationships with residents and their families while creating opportunities for connection, participation, independence and enjoyment.

As our Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play an important role in creating a vibrant and engaging lifestyle for our residents.

You will plan and coordinate a diverse range of individual and group activities, social events, entertainment, cultural experiences and community outings, ensuring programs are meaningful, inclusive and tailored to the people who call Pathways Longueville home.

You will have the opportunity to bring your creativity and ideas to life while working closely with residents, families, volunteers and the broader care team.

• Develop and coordinate engaging lifestyle programs based on residents' interests, abilities and preferences.

• Create opportunities for social connection, purpose, independence and enjoyment.

• Facilitate individual and group activities, celebrations, entertainment and community outings.

• Build meaningful and trusting relationships with residents and their families.

• Support residents living with dementia through person-centred and engaging activities.

• Coordinate special events and cultural celebrations that reflect residents' backgrounds and interests.

• Complete lifestyle assessments, individualised plans and required documentation.

• Work collaboratively with the broader care team to support holistic resident wellbeing.

• Contribute ideas and initiatives that continuously enhance the resident experience.

• Ensure lifestyle programs align with the Aged Care Quality Standards and best practice.

We're looking for someone who is energetic, creative and genuinely passionate about enriching the lives of older people.

You will bring:

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Leisure & Health, Diversional Therapy or equivalent.

• Previous experience in aged care, health, community services or a similar lifestyle role.

• A genuine passion for working with older Australians.

• Creativity, initiative and enthusiasm.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Experience supporting people living with dementia is highly desirable.

• Strong organisational and documentation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Current National Police Check.

• Relevant vaccinations in accordance with aged care requirements.
