About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Restaurant Hands, Waiters, Managers, and Juniors to join our team at THE QUARTERS in Esperance, WA, starting first week of September. This is a casual position, potentially offering full time hours between September 2026 to April 2027 for the tourism season, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment. Whether you are an experienced server, a junior team member eager to learn, or someone looking to develop your restaurant management skills, we have opportunities to suit your experience level and career aspirations. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests enjoy memorable dining experiences.

No sponsorships available. Please do not apply if you are requiring sponsorship. Will suit travellers with 88 day visas requiring remote seasonal work.

What you'll be doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking orders from customers in a prompt and courteous manner

• Serving food and beverages to guests with accuracy and professionalism

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas and table settings

• Processing payments and managing the point-of-sale system

• Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any concerns with tact and efficiency

• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations

• Assisting with food preparation and kitchen support duties as required

• Setting up and breaking down dining spaces

• Adhering to health and safety standards and hygiene protocols

• Supporting management with stock control, inventory checks, and administrative tasks where applicable

• Training and mentoring junior staff members (for Management positions)

What we're looking for

Essential skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is desirable

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Attention to detail and organisational abilities

• Reliability and punctuality

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards

• Point-of-sale system experience is advantageous

• For Management positions: demonstrated leadership experience and knowledge of restaurant operations

• For Junior positions: willingness to learn and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry

• Must have RSA (unless a junior application). Barista skills are an advantage, but not necessary.
