We're seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Manager - Contracts to build and lead our national approach to procurement, supplier governance and commercial contract management across a growing property portfolio.

About the Role Reporting to the Group Executive Manager – Strategic Assets and Growth, you will lead strategic procurement, contract establishment and commercial oversight across maintenance, facilities, fleet, energy and asset-related services.
Working closely with Executive leaders, Strategic Assets, MPPM and operational stakeholders, you'll develop supplier partnerships, sourcing strategies and governance frameworks that support safe, compliant and sustainable housing outcomes.
This is a national role with significant influence across the organisation and the opportunity to establish and mature a critical commercial function.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement national sourcing and procurement strategies across maintenance, facilities, fleet, energy and asset-related services.
- Lead tendering, supplier selection and commercial negotiation activities.
- Establish and manage strategic supplier partnerships and governance frameworks.
- Develop contracts, service level agreements, performance measures and reporting requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, expenditure, risk and service outcomes.
- Provide commercial reporting and assurance to Executive stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement across procurement, contract management and supplier governance practices.
- Strengthen organisational capability through advice, support and commercial best practice.
You Will Bring - Significant experience in procurement, commercial management, contract management, supplier governance or a related discipline.
- Strong experience leading complex sourcing, tendering and commercial negotiation processes.
- Proven ability to build and manage high-value supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance value, risk and service outcomes.
- Experience establishing governance, performance and reporting frameworks.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Experience within property, construction, facilities, infrastructure, asset management or related sectors will be highly regarded.
- Relevant qualifications in procurement, commerce, law, construction, engineering, property, project management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
