We are seeking a driven, proactive, and commercially minded Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our recruitment initiatives, manage campaign execution, and drive student enrolment growth across our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
The Role
Reporting to Senior Leadership, the Sales and Marketing Manager will play a hands-on role in planning and executing TOP’s growth strategy. You will lead the day-to-day operations of sales and marketing, drive domestic and international student recruitment, maintain key channel partner networks, and ensure all promotional activities align with Australian regulatory standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Direct the development and implementation of sales strategies and set sales/enrolment targets to maximise student recruitment and customer loyalty.
· Direct the development and implementation of strategies to promote TOP's courses and services to prospective domestic and international students, agents, and partners.
· Direct the development and implementation of strategies to increase engagement with, and consumption of, TOP's programs through the creation and reinforcement of brand image and brand loyalty.
· Direct the development and implementation of strategies to build and maintain TOP's reputation with students, education agents, industry partners, and the wider public.
· Manage and mentor the sales and marketing team, setting KPIs and monitoring performance against enrolment and revenue targets.
· Oversee market research, competitor analysis, and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
· Manage marketing budgets, campaigns (digital, print, events) and the agent/partner network.
· Collaborate with academic and operations teams to align marketing activity with course offerings and compliance requirements (e.g. ESOS/National Code).
Key Selection Criteria
Qualifications & Experience:
· A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications,
or a related field (or at least 5 years of relevant management experience in lieu of
formal qualification).
· Demonstrated experience in a Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, or Senior
Recruitment role, ideally within the Higher Education, Vocational Education (VET), or
International Education sectors.
Skills & Core Competencies:
· Commercial Drive: Proven track record in executing successful marketing campaigns and sales strategies that
delivered measurable revenue growth and brand presence.
· Team Leadership: Strong people management skills with experience setting team
targets, driving accountability, and coaching staff.
· Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with
experience managing agent networks and external partners.
· Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of (or demonstrated ability to quickly
learn) the regulatory requirements governing international education in Australia
(ESOS Framework, National Code).
· Communication: High-level written and verbal communication skills, including
experience preparing performance reports for management.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation.
