Kinetik Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and motivated Boilermakers and Fitters for ongoing casual opportunities across both workshop and site-based projects. We work with clients across the industrial, manufacturing, mining, and infrastructure sectors, delivering high-quality maintenance, fabrication, installation, and shutdown services.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position offering a variety of work across workshop fabrication and site maintenance environments. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including structural steel, plant maintenance, equipment installation, repairs, modifications, and shutdown support.

Responsibilities

Boilermakers

• Fabrication and welding of structural steel and platework

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Workshop and on-site repairs and modifications

• Maintenance of industrial equipment and plant

• Ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards

Fitters

• Mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation work

• Maintenance, servicing, and repairs of industrial machinery

• Equipment overhauls and shutdown activities

• Fault finding and troubleshooting

About You

To be successful, you will ideally possess:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Welder, Metal Fabricator, Mechanical Fitter, or equivalent

• Demonstrated experience in workshop and/or site-based environments

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable transport and current driver's licence

• White Card (or ability to obtain)

Highly Regarded

• Working at Heights

• EWP Ticket

• Forklift Ticket

• Rigging or Dogging Licence

• Mining or heavy industrial experience

• Shutdown experience
