About the role
The Sales Manager will research patterns and trends of trading Australian bloodstock, develop, optimise, monitor and execute marketing and sales strategies, consistent with the company's growth initiatives. The role involves liaising with customers to discuss and negotiate commercial terms relevant to the sale of Australian bloodstock, and attending local industry events to enhance and expand the company's local presence in Australia.
Key responsibilities
Research on the patterns and trends of trading Australian bloodstock;
Develop, optimise, monitor and execute marketing and sales strategies;
Develop and monitor sales on an on-going basis to ensure internal KPIs are met;
Liaise with the company's customers to discuss and negotiate pertinent commercial terms relevant to the sale of Australian bloodstock;
Provide administration support to internal stakeholders, customer support and respond to customer enquiries on an ad hoc basis;
Attend to local industry events as supervised and collaborate with local industry leaders to enhance and expand the company's local presence in Australia; and
Provide the company's key metrics and data to the management with the overarching aim to drive growth, client satisfaction and team effectiveness.
About you
Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, or related fields;
5+ years in roles within sales, marketing, public relations, or advertising organizations, with robust experience managing client portfolios, teams, and strategic initiatives;
Excellent at delivering strategic communications, presentations, thought leadership, and stakeholder communications; and
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese for the purposes of liaising with customers and industry leaders in Hong Kong, and mainland China (not regarded as essential).
