Dermatology Nurse (RN or EN)

Employment: Permanent Part-Time – Two Positions Available
Location: South Yarra, VIC

• Monday to Wednesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

• 25.5 hours per week

• Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

• Friday: 9:00am – 2:00pm

• 13.5 hours per week

The Dermatology Institute of Victoria (DIV), located in South Yarra, provides comprehensive medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services. We are also actively involved in a number of medical and cosmetic clinical trials, contributing to innovation and research within the field.

We are currently seeking two experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

While previous dermatology experience is highly regarded, it is not essential, with extensive training provided across all areas of dermatology.

Working alongside our specialist dermatologists, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality patient care across a diverse range of medical and procedural dermatology services.

• Deliver safe, comprehensive and effective nursing care

• Assist practitioners with medical, surgical and cosmetic skin procedures

• Prepare patients for minor dermatological procedures

• Provide post-operative wound care and patient follow-up

• Conduct patient assessments and triage

• Perform clinical photography

• Support practitioners with individualised treatment planning

• Educate and support patients before and after treatment

• Maintain instrument sterilisation and clinical supplies

• Provide general clinical and administrative support as required

You will demonstrate:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Experience in dermatology, plastic surgery or skin cancer nursing

• Previous private practice experience

• Surgical and/or cosmetic nursing experience

• Experience using Genie or similar medical software

• Two permanent part-time opportunities available, offering a choice of either a three-day or two-day roster
