Sales Manager – Taste of Paradise Distributors

Location: Hobart based

Employment: Part-time – 4 days per week

Salary: $75,000 FTE, pro-rata to $60,000 for 4 days + superannuation + company vehicle (Salary negotiable based on experience)

Taste of Paradise is looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to take responsibility for growing our customer base and sales across Tasmania.

Working four days per week, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and helping drive the continued growth of Taste of Paradise. You will work closely with the business owner to develop sales opportunities, promote our product range and ensure our customers receive a high level of service. The role includes monthly travel to customers in the North of the state with expenses paid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop existing customer relationships across Tasmania
• Identify and secure new business opportunities
• Present and promote our extensive range of food and grocery products
• Increase sales across existing and new accounts
• Set and monitor sales goals and follow up on opportunities

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in sales, preferably within food, grocery or wholesale distribution
• Confident dealing with independent retailers, supermarkets and business owners
• Commercially minded and focused on achieving sales growth
• Organised and able to manage their own time and customer visits
• Comfortable negotiating and presenting products to customers
• Well connected within the Tasmanian retail or food industry would be an advantage
