We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Stockroom & Maintenance team member to join our Beacon Lighting Port Macquarie store. This is a permanent part-time role 36 hours per fortnight—with the added bonus of no weekend work.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Role

Based in our Port Macquarie store, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Working as part of a supportive team, you will:

Unload, receive and put away stock, keeping everything moving through the store efficientlyKeep the stockroom in top shape—clean, safe and organised at all timesRotate and replenish stock to support store presentation and availabilityCarry out general maintenance tasks, including patching, painting and basic repairsInstall pre-wired lighting and fans as required in-storeJump in on deliveries, including occasional drop-offs or pickupsSupport the team on the floor with basic customer assistance when needed

What Success Looks Like In This Role

Hands-on experience in warehousing, stock handling, maintenance or a trade-support roleA practical, can-do attitude—you don’t wait to be asked, you get things doneStrong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces organised and functionalComfortable working with basic systems (POS, Microsoft Office) when requiredAble to work independently and manage physical, varied tasks across the dayA current driver’s licence and willingness to be on the move when needed
