MR DRIVER

Swan Plumbing Supplies is seeking a hardworking and reliable MR Delivery Driver to join our brand Trade Plumbing branch at Sumner. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and taking pride in delivering excellent service to customers across the Brisbane region.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for MR deliveries driving our brand new Fuso Canter Auto 6.4 mtr tray truck, as well as assisting with yard and branch preparation duties when not driving.

About the Role

The primary focus of this role is the delivery and collection of rental equipment to and from customer sites. You will also assist with setting up and packing down equipment on-site and ensuring equipment is prepared and ready for hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of plumbing goods including pipe, fittings HWU’s and concrete.

• Towing, reversing, and maneuvering trailers and equipment

• Inwards goods and assisting picking and packing orders.

• General yard duties and housekeeping

• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

• Providing a high level of customer service

• Other duties as directed

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong work ethic and a proactive “can-do” attitude. You will also have:

• Valid Forklift Licence (essential)

• MR licence (essential)

• Excellent driving record with a strong focus on safety

• Previous experience with deliveries and towing/reversing trailers or equipment

• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

• Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of the role

• Working Full time, 6am to 3pm Mon – Fri.

Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded; however, attitude, reliability, and a willingness to support the business’s growth will be key factors in the selection process.
