Accountant

About the role

Working closely with management you will be responsible for the day-to-day finance function across a number of entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, payroll processing, BAS preparation and lodgement, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end and year-end reporting and general accounting tasks, and supporting process improvements and finance administration as required.

About you

• Organised, detail-oriented and enjoy taking ownership of your work

• Team player with excellent communication skills

• Willing to learn and develop your skills

• Experience in accounting across multiple entities

• Exposure to a variety of industries

• Strong working knowledge of Xero and add-ons

• Excellent computer and technology skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

• Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
