About the role
Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) is a regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Established in 1986, KAMS provides a collaborative network of support for member ACCHS, offering a range of services including health promotion, social and emotional wellbeing support, and accredited training.
Our vision is to ensure that Aboriginal people in the Kimberley achieve their full potential through quality healthcare and community support. We are committed to being managed and controlled by Kimberley Aboriginal people, advocating effectively for the health sector, and providing holistic, culturally appropriate healthcare services.
Position OverviewThe Registered Nurse Level 1 (Dialysis Nurse) is based in Fitzroy Crossing on a Full-time basis. You will play a vital role in delivering culturally safe nursing care to clients with renal health needs. This position requires managing a client caseload, supervising new staff, and contributing to the continuous quality improvement of services at the Renal Health Centre. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to clients and their families.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled nurse with a commitment to Aboriginal health and community service. You will possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
The salary for this position is $132,697 per annum pro rata. Additional benefits include:
