The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, you will:

• Oversee on-site construction and installation activities for major structural steel projects

• Ensure delivery to scope, schedule, quality, and safety standards

• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to achieve efficient project execution

• Manage site risks and proactively resolve issues before they impact delivery

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and company standards

• Engage with stakeholders including clients, engineers, and project partners to maintain strong communication and collaboration

• Drive continuous improvement in site processes and project outcomes

You'll be a key player in ensuring projects transition smoothly from tender handover into successful delivery, setting the tone for operational excellence on site.

You'll work directly with senior leaders, get visibility across the national pipeline, and have a say in how we continually improve our site management practices.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years' site management experience in structural steel, metal fabrication, or commercial construction

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate diverse site teams and subcontractors

• Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and installation processes

• Proven ability to manage site risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Degree or trade background in Construction, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (steel, welding, rigging, fabrication experience highly regarded)

• Experience with Tier 1–3 commercial or industrial builders

• Exposure to offshore teams or international collaboration is a plus
