About Forensicare
Forensicare is Victoria's specialist provider of forensic mental health services. We deliver recovery-focused services for consumers experiencing serious mental illness or problematic behaviours who are connected to, or at risk of contact with, the justice system, across community, inpatient and secure settings throughout Victoria.
About the Opportunity
Two exciting opportunity exists for Senior Psychologists Grade 3 to join the Problem Behaviour Program (PBP) within Forensicare's Community Forensic Mental Health Service.
As a senior clinician, you will provide advanced clinical and forensic psychological expertise to consumers engaging in, or at risk of engaging in, serious problem behaviours requiring specialist intervention. This includes presentations involving persistent violence, stalking, fire-setting, sexually harmful behaviour and serious threats of harm.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will undertake specialist assessments, develop evidence-based formulations and treatment plans, provide individual and group interventions, and deliver consultation to clinicians, agencies and key stakeholders. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to supervision, training, research and service development initiatives.
