Role Title: Assistant Procurement and Facilities Officer (REQ688022)
• Employment type: Full-time, ongoing
• 35 hour working week
• Hybrid working environment, including one day of remote work per week
• Located on lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation (Sydney CBD)
About this role
Reporting to the Procurement Officer, you will provide procurement support, business administration, facilities management services, and reception support to ensure the effective operation of the HPCA. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver responsive and professional corporate services.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting procurement activities, purchasing processes, office facilities management and administration.
• Coordinating office facilities services and maintaining corporate office operations.
• Managing facilities directing enquiries appropriately and maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate records, databases, reports, and documentation.
Assistant Procurement and Facilities Officer Clerk Grade 5/6, salary from $ 102,936 - $ 113,579 plus super and leave loading

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work within tight timeframes.
• Experience preparing professional correspondence, reports, and administrative documentation.
• Demonstrated experience providing detailed analysis and reporting, including interpreting data and presenting findings clearly.
• Experience in facilities contract management, including monitoring service provider performance and analysing expenditure.
• Experience maintaining corporate office services and supporting workplace operations.

The Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) is an executive agency of the NSW Ministry of Health. We play an important role in protecting the health and safety of the public by supporting the 15 NSW Health Professional Councils in managing complaints about NSW health practitioners.
The position is based at the HPCA Pitt Street offices, located only a short walking distance from Central Station and Belmore Park.
