The Nurse Educator – Nursing Specialty Pathways is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation and evaluation of Specialty Nursing Learning Pathways framework across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD). The Nurse Educator will collaborate with clinical nurse educators to design a specialty pathway framework to encompass core nursing capabilities and can be enhanced for specialty needs.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current AHPRA Registration and relevant postgraduate qualifications in nursing, education, leadership or related field (or working towards)
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence (Class C)
This is a temporarily funded position until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of an extension subject to funding.
