Retail Store Manager – Pet Supplies | Ferntree

We’re looking for an experienced retail leader to take ownership of our Ferntree store and lead a small, hands-on team.

As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of your store from developing your team and delivering great customer experiences to driving sales, managing stock and maintaining high operational standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, developing people and taking ownership of results.

As Store Manager, you will:

• Lead, coach and develop your team to achieve great results

• Drive sales, KPIs and overall store performance

• Maintain high standards across customer service, merchandising and store presentation

• Manage rostering, wages, stock, inventory and day-to-day store operations

• Build strong relationships with customers and the local community

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous retail management or strong retail leadership experience

• Confidence leading, coaching and developing a team

• A good understanding of KPIs, budgets, wages and stock management

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• A hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of store performance

Experience within the pet industry is not essential — we’ll provide the training and support you need to build your product and animal care knowledge.
