We are seeking an Apprentice Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our Darra team. Whether you're a school leaver keen to enter the industry or a current apprentice wanting to continue your apprenticeship with a supportive employer, we'd love to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on industry-leading earthmoving and construction equipment while completing a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.

What You'll Learn

Working alongside experienced technicians, you will gain practical skills in:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing mobile plant equipmentDiagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faultsPerforming preventative maintenance and inspectionsUsing industry-leading diagnostic tools and equipmentUnderstanding engine, driveline, hydraulic and electrical systemsFollowing workplace safety procedures and best practicesCompleting the practical and theoretical requirements of your apprenticeship

Has a genuine interest in heavy equipment, diesel engines or mechanicsIs motivated to learn and develop a trade careerHas a positive attitude and strong work ethicIs reliable, punctual and safety-focusedEnjoys hands-on work and problem-solvingHolds a current driver's licence or is working towards obtaining one
